CADCAM engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform updates on engineering drafting standards, as well as to conduct basic drafting course for new engineers.
• Support project teams in 3D CAD and 2D drafting technical solutions
• Manage the CADCAM systems- Engineering Drawing Management System (EDMS) & Document Management System (DMS).
• Spearhead and manage the development work in Standard Part System.
• Perform NX/PLM installation and troubleshooting.
• Write software to automate solutions and integrate them into our production environment.
• Demonstrating CAD system new capabilities/enhancements to end-users before implementation
• Provide NX support to the end users and investigate all reported problems/errors.
• Administer NX application, develop routines and utility programs
• Hands-on experienced in NX customization using .Net API or other technology.
• Coordinate/Perform level 1, 2 and 3 support and helpdesk service requests.
• Updating and maintaining the standard CAD library.
• Perform NX application enhancements and explore with latest technological demands to meet operation requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mech Engineering/Computer Science or Equivalent.
• Min 3 years of working experience with a strong technical background.
• Proficient in CAD tools: NX, Creo tool. Good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Experience of Java, C/C++/C#, UFUNC & GRIP Programming languages will be added advantages
• A strong understanding of and ability to apply PLM / CAD / CAM / CAE analyses & solutions in solving industrial problems.
• Good Interpersonal, presentation & communication skills. Well organized and able to work independently with min supervision.
• Able to work in a team.
