Engineer

Responsibilities:

Responsible for RF coverage design for 3G (UMTS), 4G(LTE) and 5G (including RF link budget calculation and cable route), procurement, implementation, testing & commissioning of 3G (UMTS), 4G(LTE) and 5G Telecommunication Mobile coverage network and equipment for MRT projects in Singapore.

He/She will be responsible to ensure that the Mobile Network operators quality of service (QoS) are met and reports are submitted on schedule. He/She will work closely with our installation group to ensure that the equipment and cabling works is installed as per design requirement. He/She will ensure compliance with project requirements/specifications as per customer documents, wireless standards, and any other requirement. He/She will also be involved in the procurement process like sourcing of vendors and other administrative/miscellaneous tasks related to projects.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Telecommunication Engineering or related disciplines
• Has at least 2 years’ work experience in performing RF coverage design, cable routing, and RF link budget design in telecommunications or wireless communications engineering related field will be an advantage.
• Fresh Graduates with relevant qualifications may be considered. Familiarity in wireless/telecommunications systems, related in railway/train environment will be an advantage.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Great team player
• Site testing and Maintenance work involving night work is to be expected
• Shows initiative, confidence, responsible and high level of commitment
• Attend meeting and write meeting minutes.
• Able to work in construction and MRT tunnel environment.
• Ability to do troubleshooting if the RF coverage results is not met.   
• Ability to multi-tasking, working under pressure, with the ability to deliver under tight deadlines
• Ability to coordinate and liaise with project stakeholders like our installation team, drafting team, customer and sub-contractors.
• Ability to use RF instrument like Nemo outdoors/Analyzer, spectrum analyser, signal generator and etc will be an advantage.
