Engineering & Reliability Engineer / Executive

Position Purpose:

Provide component reliability support in relation to group functions, internal departments, and external customers, with the end goal of achieving and improving component reliability

Job:

• Manage a component reliability monitoring program aimed at reliability problem identification and rectification
• Perform reliability analysis to enhance the reliability of components in operation
• Prepare and issue monthly reliability reports to customers
• Evaluate component modifications (MODs)/Airworthiness Directives (ADs)/Service Bulletins (SBs)/Vendor Service Bulletins (VSBs)/Service Instruction Letters (SILs) and provide recommendation and/or implementation programs
• Prepare and conduct/participate in reliability meetings/reviews with customers
• Aid internal departments in resolving component reliability issues
• Component repair cost modeling for Maintenance-by-the-Hour (MBH) programs and repair cost data management

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering
• Excellent analytical skills and able to communicate effectively
• Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently as well as a team player
• Ability to do basic scripting/coding on visualization software (e.g. Tableau, Qlik Sense, or MS Power BI, etc….), and automation processes (e.g.  MS Excel macro, RPA UiPath, etc…) will be an advantage.
• Working experience in aviation industry, with knowledge in Airbus or Boeing aircraft component will be an advantage
