Maintenance Technician (Engines) (2 years contract)

Job Description:

• Perform Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) jobs for Mechanical components eg Heavy Duty Diesel Engines and Transmissions.
• Report to Platform head on status updates of above mentioned jobs.
• Work closely with Platform Head to ensure job are completed and deliverable are met within datelines.
• Perform troubleshooting and fault finding with the aid of OEM manuals and work instructions.
• Study current processes and develop Process Instructions/ Work Instructions to further enhance productivity.

Job Requirements:

• 'N' Level abd above
• Able to use Microsoft office
• Read and interpret OEM manuals and engineering drawings.

• Competent in Heavy Duty Diesel mechanical systems eg Engines, Transmissions, Hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge in Detroit Diesel Engines, Caterpillar Engines and Allison Transmissions will be advantageous.
• Prior experience in use of SAP will be advantageous.
• Literate in MS Office.

• Able to communicate well with co-workers/ technicians and resolve issues in a professional manner.
• Able to multi-task and adopt problem solving attitude.
