Assistant Manager, Programme Development

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Coordinate internal resources and for project execution
  • Establish and manage relationships with users and stakeholders
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Anticipate and manage changes to project scope, schedule and costs
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to junior project staff
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

 

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • At least 5 years working experience in project management, preferably in a technology area
  • Familiarity with government contracting a plus
  • Outstanding people skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Ability to deal with ambiguities
