Product Business Manager

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the Sales and marketing of our company Security and Radar surveillance products and solutions, locally and internationally
  • Prepare quotations, tender documentations, presentation slides, marketing collaterals
  • Conduct product presentation, product demonstration and product marketing training
  • Plan and organise road shows and/or briefings for potential channel partners including distributors, re-sellers, strategic partners, system integrators as well as prospects/end-customers
  • Perform product competitive analysis, analyse market trends, collect market information and generate monthly sales reports
  • Responsible for developing market opportunities and expanding business presence
  • Identify new prospects through channel partners and to work closely in engaging the prospects
  • Build new distribution channels as well as to maintain the existing channels
  • Manage and support channel partners established in the region
  • Anticipate and communicate market opportunities/changes
  • Guide a team that is in charge of a product line contribution as a business unit. This extends from increasing the profitability of the existing product(s) to developing new product(s) for the company. The PBM will build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on his/ her industry experience and interactions with customers and prospects. The PBM must possess a good blend of business acumen and technical savviness; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality:
  • Define the product business strategy and roadmap
  • Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product
  • Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
  • Deliver a quarterly revenue forecast

 

 

Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
  • Minimum 4-5 years in an account management role, in solution selling Public Security and Radar surveillance products/solutions in local and international
  • Experience in major tender bids of more than S$1 million, an added advantage
  • Resourceful in gathering market intelligence and cultivating new customers
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets
  • Experienced in business development, working with technical and product managers as well as external partners to enhance existing product offerings and to lead in developing new solutions for existing/ new markets
  • Good written and verbal communication / articulation skills
  • Outgoing with good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Able to act independently and make decisions with minimal supervision
  • Able to interact and engage well with partners, stakeholders and team members
