Cybersecurity Program Manager

 

Job Description

 

This is an important role that involves administrative support for an organization wide cybersecurity program. You will interface between the program office, platform development team, platform users and partnering organisation for commercialisation of the platform. Your will need to understand the cybersecurity platform, engage with various stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective delivery of an organization wide cybersecurity program. Furthermore, through the delivery of the program and engagement of stakeholders, you will need to identify improvements to be made for the continuous enhancement of the software platform and program delivery. With this experience, you will need to drive an effort to ready the platform for commercialization in terms of both platform experience and program delivery.

 

You must be good with people, and adept at prioritising requirements from different stakeholders, while maintaining focus on the objectives. This requires a strong sense of ownership, and good organisational, people and project management skills. Experience managing the delivery of software projects and familiarity with basic cybersecurity concepts and operations is required.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop expert knowledge of the cybersecurity platform and its operations within the organisation.

  • Work closely with the program team to craft content for, and deliver effective simulated phishing exercises within the organisation. Prior experience with phishing campaign will be an advantage.

  • Work closely with the development team and program office to ensure continual improvements to the platform and program delivery.

  • Engage partner organisation with the aim of commercialising the platform and its delivery in accordance with established procedures and/or guidelines.

  • Provide staffing support in coordinating, documenting, and presenting progress updates to senior leaders in steering committees and similar meetings.

  • Facilitate meetings, helps to remove impediments to the development team's progress.

  • Organise and lead daily scrum and follow up on any identified obstacles.

  • Review project activities/items such as timely completion of development, UI designs, Integration, QA, Test cases, User Stories, Code deployment flow, etc.

  • Manage backlog and help the product owner ensure sprint goals are delivered.

 

Requirements:

  • Excellent written, oral, and people skills, enabling effective communication in both technical and business contexts.

  • Ownership, creativity, and patience in solving issues faced by stakeholders and continually improving the platform and program delivery.

  • 3 years of experience in project management. Experience delivering organisation wide upskilling programs, or managing software development projects.

  • Candidate should have experience with Agile development framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), and in depth understanding of software development life cycle models.

  • Knowledge or experience with cybersecurity concepts and response operations will be an added advantage.
