Project Group Manager

Responsibilities

As a project group manager you are responsible in developing detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation and delivering every project on time within budget and scope.

You will lead a team to manage multiple projects and you are require to oversee all aspects of projects including coordinate with various contractors, product suppliers/vendors, clients and set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor and track progress of all projects. You need to be a team player and have a problem-solving aptitude. Good understanding of contracts, the contractual obligations and Service Level Agreement (SLA) is a must.

 

Requirements

You should have a background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis. You should be an excellent communicator and comfortable managing multiple tasks and not limited to the below requirements:

  • Great educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering.
  • More than 8 years in project management in the field of ICT, Security & System works.
  • Solid technical background, with understanding and hands-on experience on system integration and installations.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Confidence. A leader should always project confidence even though he/she may not be feeling the same inside. Confidence is infectious and it inspires the others in the team to do their best.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred
  • You should also be well-versed with project-management software like Microsoft Project.
  • This is a direct contract position
