QA Engineer, Product Quality

Responsibilities

• Product quality acceptance of vehicles and weapons systems
• Plan and organise QA inspection and testing activities
• Write acceptance test plans, work instructions & risk assessments
• Review and endorse inspection control plans (weapon systems)
• Conduct on-site acceptance of sub-assembly and component proof pressure testing   
• Perform outfield testing of vehicles, weapons and mortar systems
• Perform overseas commissioning and proof firing of mortar system
• Conduct and supervise technicians on acceptance test of production units
• Engage customers for product acceptance
• Perform failure investigation to determine root cause and corrective actions
   

Requirements

• Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Manufacturing or Automotive Engineering
• Keen interest in automotive/ hydraulics/ electrical & electronics/ engine systems
• Experienced in Military armoured vehicles or Artillery experience during NS 
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Class 3 driving licence is required
• Some industrial experience in quality assurance field
