Title:  Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul Engineer

About the Role

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the operational readiness and reliability of land combat systems. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing engineering projects and maintenance activities that support the efficient functioning of military land vehicles and equipment.

Job Description:

• Provide engineering support to proprietary and non-proprietary Military products
• Conduct failure investigation and prepare reports for problems or issues based on findings from facts, research, studies and makes necessary recommendations and submits to relevant authority for approval
• Prepare and studies technical drawings, specifications of mechanical systems inclusive of engine, transmission, powerpack and driveline, and scopes of work to ensure (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) MRO operations conform to standards and customer requirements 
• Document work procedures based on technical requirements for the MRO components
• Analyse and interpret test information to resolve repair related problems
• Design, maintain, service and implement components so to be able to 
  integrate into in-service systems, and interpret specifications and mechanical drawings for any re-engineering work required 
• Responsible include training technicians; planning, assigning, and directing work to a group of technicians; appraising addressing complaints and resolving problems
• Appoint to be lead for a Platform to ensure the MRO Component serviceability 
  is meet at all times 
• Engage in risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for potential technical hazards in alignment with best industry practices.
• ⁠Guarantee strict adherence to safety regulations, military standards, and organisational policies, fostering a culture of safety compliance at all levels
• ⁠Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in maintenance processes by leveraging innovative engineering solutions and technological advancements.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering.
• Experience or demonstrated interest in military land systems, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) processes.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a diverse team.
• Excellent communication skills for clear and concise reporting and collaboration.
