Title:  Engineer, Piping Design (1-year Contract)

Responsibilities 

• Review and prepare revised piping isometrics, primary pipe support and secondary pipe supports drawings.
• Cross-checking of current valve list against piping specification and P&IDs and ensure that all mechanical and process parameters in the valve list is aligned with the requirements
• Cross-checking purchased valves drawings and specifications against the current valve list and identify those valves which are not in used.
• Identify all valves in the valve list that has not been procured and raise Purchase Requisition.
• Identify valves which are purchased but not in used anymore, and check whether these valves can be re-used for those valves that has not been procured.
• Review valves GA drawings by vendors and ensure drawings are in line with requirements.
• Communicate with vendor for technical comments on valve GA drawings and valves specs.
• Report daily progress to supervisor.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in EPC projects. Experience in process plants/waste-to-energy plants preferred. Note: This scope of work involves water system cycle system which comprises of HP steam, MP Steam, LP Steam, LLP Steam, Feedwater, Condensate, LTECO Recirculation Cooling system, Biogas Superheater system, Air cooled condenser system, bypass system, Turbine auxiliaries’ system etc…
