Title:  Commercial Engineer-Tenders & Estimations (Marine)

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate and realistic estimate for jobs as required in tender bids
• Source for suitable subcontractors for specialized jobs and complex work
• Prepare accurate an detailed invoicing to achieve fair and better contribution margins
• Liaise with Shiprepair Manager and Project Supervisor on all quoted and additional jobs
• Assist Commercial Manager or his designate in with respect to discussion of invoices for completed projects with attending Owner Representatives
• Assess subcontractors’ invoices, discuss with relevant parties and conclude bill settlement within target timeframe

Requirements:

• Minimium Diploma/Degree in Marine/Mechanical/Naval Architecture related studies
• Preferably 2 years working experience in Shipyard or Marine related industry, but not a must
• Possess understanding of Estimation and Costing for projects
• Proficient in MS Office and MS Project if possible
• Knowledge in SAP, AutoCAD and Solidwork is advantageous

• 5 days work week
• Working Hours: 7.25am to 5.00pm
