Description: 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of EHS policies, procedures, and standards in line with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
  • Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the compilation of reports to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and management to promote safety culture and environmental awareness throughout the facility.
  • Coordinate and participate in safety training programmes, drills, and awareness campaigns to ensure employee competence and engagement.
  • Maintain records of EHS activities, audits, and compliance documentation, supporting management reviews and certifications.
  • Keep abreast of evolving laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to environment, health, and safety, advising the organisation accordingly.
  • Contribute to sustainability initiatives that reduce environmental impact and enhance operational efficiency.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Degree or diploma in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience in environment, health, and safety roles, preferably within the marine, manufacturing, or heavy engineering sectors.
  • Strong understanding of EHS regulations and standards applicable in Singapore and internationally.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging employees across multiple levels.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in EHS management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt digitalisation and AI initiatives.

  • Location: Benoi Road (Island-wide transport provided)
  • 5 days work week
  • Working Hours: 7.25am to 5.00pm
