Responsibilities

 

  • Lead/Develop Equipment Layout and Piping Arrangement for tendering and project execution
  • Lead engineers and drafters to optimize and generate Plant Layout and Piping arrangement on time
  • Lead/Develop 2D and 3D model for MEP, engaging Revit and/or AutoCAD
  • Lead/Develop/Coordinate BIM model, engaging Revit
  • Lead/Develop PFD and P&ID generation with minimum input from Process Engineering
  • Develop/Mange project piping specifications
  • Take ownership on developing BOQ for pipe, fitting and valves
  • Manage and check technical information of external suppliers of equipment and systems and coordinate/cooperate with engineers from other trades in the organization
  • Check drawings/documents and material list and ensure that they conform to contractual technical specifications, installation control documents and Statutory Rules/Regulations
  • Point of contact with contractor to provide design and engineering solutions onsite
  • Participate in tests and trials, where required

 

 

Requirements

  •  At least 10 years as Mechanical Component Engineer and Piping Engineer in EPC project for Power, Petrochemical, Water and/or Waste-to-Energy plants
  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or equivalent
  • Good knowledge of international design codes, e.g., EN, ISO, ASME and etc
  • Strong EPC background
  • In depth experience and competency with utilizing Autodesk Revit modelling and AutoCAD software as well as some knowledge of BIM Administrator
  • Ability to lead and guide engineers and drafters
  • Open minded and able to adopt different ideas for implementations
  • Team player

  • BIM Modelling Revit MEP
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
