Description:
Responsibilities
- Responsible to perform as Lead project engineer in Electrical System design and the power distribution of platform system’s equipment in the marine vessel, which shall include basic and detail design of :

- Main and Aux Power System design
- Power distribution network of vessel
- Backup Power Supply Design
- Power management and its interface to the ship monitoring and control system
- Navigation lighting design and arrangement
- Navigation and Communication equipment for commercial vessel projects
- General and emergency lighting system
- Switchboards and electrical equipment arrangement
- Electrical Engineering design and calculations.
- Electrical Fittings Design for vessel
- Guide and review of 3D modelling design for ship equipment on board vessels and electrical equipment. Ability to perform modelling will be an advantage
- Review vendors technical proposal to ensure solution meets the functional requirement.
- Coordinates inter-disciplinary engineering work and subcontracting activities.
- Responsible for ensuring the Contractual technical requirement and Classification requirement of design are fulfilled and within project schedule.
- Liaise and integrate with client and other internal engineering trades for project coordination.
- Attending technical review and meetings with client and vendors during project execution to ensure requirement are fulfilled, technical solutions are discussed, and technical issues resolved.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronic or any related engineering field or Polytechnic Diploma with sufficient working experience will be considered.
- 5 years experience in electrical engineering design and engineering work in Marine, Oil & Gas or heavy engineering industry
- Experience in electrical power generation and distribution systems for marine vessels added advantage.
- Familiar with CAD software.
- Familiar with rules and Regulations of Marine Classification Societies and Regulatory Authorities.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills

- Location: 16 Benoi Road(Island-wide transport provided)
- 5 days work week
- Working Hours: 7.25am to 5.00pm
