Title:  Engineer-Marine Design (SUBMARINE)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare Engineering Document (Technical Specification, Calculation, drawings, etc) inthe development of new designs and products.
• Generate new drawings and drawing changes including parts lists and Change Orders.
• Perform impact analysis on the arrangement and drawings.
• Plan and organise relevant design changes in cooperation with Ship Design Authority.
• Study/analyse/investigate/develop the design. Prepare technical documentation/guidelines for the work to be performed, according to established formats from the technicaldatabase, stipulated budget, time schedule and quality standards.
• Conduct Testing and validate technical interfaces for the work performed, according toestablished test procedures from the technical database.
• Liaise with ship-owners and Ship Design Authority to obtain approval on engineeringdeliverables.
• Manage the design schedule and ensure that design is carried out according to contractand regulations.
   

Requirements:

• At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Marine Engineering.
• At least 1-2 years experience in engineering design and/or Classifications Societies and/orNaval Engineering Officer.
• Strong knowledge of international design codes, Classification/Statutory Rules andRegulations.
• Keep abreast with Naval Classifications Rules, Military and Industrial Standards relevantto design activities.
• Engineering Design Project Management skills.
• Strong Leadership and Interpersonal skills.
• Software knowledge of AutoCAD
• Only Singapore Citizens will be considered for this position
