Title:  Mechanical Service Engineer-Submarine (Changi)

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate between Ship Repair Managers and Ship Representative in planned and corrective maintenance onboard 
• Supervise and ensure safety of vessel maintenance and repair works.
• Leading a team of Technician, Assistant Engineers and Engineers to perform repair and maintenance onboard ships or in workshop
• Carry out troubleshooting and rectification of mechanical/diesel defects.
• Perform joint inspection and acceptance with ship representative 
• Hands on work in rectification of defects and maintenance of mechanical components
• Ensure quality of work performed by ownself and Technician, Assistant Engineers and Engineers deployed
• Assist in logistic support, lifting of equipment and workshop equipments etc

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Marine Engineering/Offshore Engineering
• Knowledgable in using IMTE Tools such as Torque Wrench, Pressure gauges, Internal and External Micrometer
• Knowledgable in depicting mechanical schematic diagram and 2D drawings
• Work very closely with ship representative
• Willing and able to work under pressure and overtime works if require
• Must be able to work in a team and in the department
• Willing and able to perform hands on work
• Able to work in shipyard environment – heat, grease, dust
• Training will be provided to candidates without prior experience to achieve competency 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel
• Only Singapore Citizen will be considered for this role
